Sensor Description
Sensors are deployed at two sites near Durham, New Hampshire and one site near Hanover, New Hampshire.
The Intensive Snow Measurements sampling kit includes these instruments and sensors:
- Ion chromatogram (see Dibb et al., 2007)
- Droplet Measurement Technologies SP2
- ASD FieldSpec 4
- ASD contact probe
- CETAC U5000AT nebulizer
- Remote cosine receptor mounted to 3ft aluminum leveling boom
- Dial thermometers
- Ruler
- Field notebook
These tools are cleaned daily with ultrapure 18 mega ohm water:
- 150 & 100 mL density cutters for snowpack sampling
- Plexiglass scrapers
- Chemical spatulas
- Funnels
- Plastic field shovel
